Last weekend it was my daughter Maisie’s First Holy Communion and Baker Days kindly sent us a medium cake and some cupcakes for her special day.
We had previously tried a bakerdays Letterbox Cake which was delicious so I knew we were getting a great tasting cake.
Ordering the cakes were very simple, I was so impressed with the amazing range of designs on the website. When shopping around for a communion cake there isn’t many on the market but bakerdays had loads of designs and they can be personalised too with words or photos. I chose this design for Maisie’s cake.
I ordered the medium cake which feeds 18-25 people and Maisie chose chocolate cake, there are options for fruit and traditional sponge too. You also have the option for a letterbox cake, small cake or large cake.
I also received 12 personalised cupcakes. I chose this design to match the cake.
I loved the fact that these were the same design and the choices were vanilla, chocolate or half and half so we received 6 sponge and 6 chocolate cup cakes. These went down a treat with the children!
Delivery was quick and easy, I chose the day of delivery (the day before the communion). If you are out they are happy to leave the cake in a safe place or with a neighbour. I was very impressed at how well packaged the cakes were, with boxes, card and bubble pockets to keep them safe.
My opinion of these cakes is that they are delicious, they look great, you have the option of so many designs, occasions, sizes and flavours. They are well packaged and will definitely go down well with friends and family.
Thank you bakerdays for Maisie’s amazing communion cakes! They were declined and we loved putting them to the test for you!
Thank you for reading,
