Easy and Simple Elf on the Shelf Ideas

Last year we started Elf on the Shelf, I tried to think of quick and simple ideas as I was 8 months pregnant and then we found out we were moving house in the middle of December!

Our Elf on the Shelf 2017

When the kids got home from school Buddy had arrived with chocolate coins and he explained why he had come to stay with us! The kids were sooooo excited! What did Spider-Man, Thomas and Rainbow Dash do to Buddy?! The kids left notes for Buddy so he made them some Lego creations in return!Archie was keen to make some Lego creations and leave them for Buddy to see!Buddy tricked the kids and put their underwear all over the tree! Buddy has a nice story time with his friends. When the kid’s got home from school Buddy had left them some treats! Buddy made a shoe train with his friends!Maybe the kids were a bit cheeky this day as Buddy wasn’t sure? Buddy played connect 4 with his friends!Archie has an operation so Buddy came to tell him how brave he was! Buddy had a love cereal bath.Buddy got the kids a new Christmas book! Buddy wasn’t happy this day, the kids were not good so he wrote a letter for them! Buddy was messing around in the toilet roll! This is the day we moved house, all of the kids slept together on a mattress in the living room so Buddy thought he’d play a trick on them!

We had to stay at my mums for a few days so Buddy got the kids a Christmas kit to make her house magical, he went in the blender, surprised them with tickets to see Santa and got them candy canes all over their Nanny’s tree!We moved into our new house just in time for Buddy to surprise the kids with their Christmas Eve boxes and their elf reports!

Buddy has been gone for almost a whole year but today he is back for 2018! If you’d like to see what Buddy is getting up to please check out my Instagram.
