We were asked to try out Moon Shoes and give our one at opinion on them, so here it goes!
What are Moon Shoes?
Moon Shoes are mini trampolines for your feet!
Turn your feet into mini trampolines and ‘defy gravity’ with Moon Shoes, the Iconic anti-gravity device powered by kids! Fun & original mini-trampolines for your feet. With Moon Shoes, kids have incredible fun as they jump with anti-gravity effects while developing balance and coordination.
Some on you may remember Moon Shoes from the advert, they were a popular toy in the 90s!
What is in the box?
In the box you get two black plastic moon shoes, two foot plates with Velcro straps and 36 rubber bands.
I was quite surprised that we needed to assemble them first, I found it quite tricky to attach the rubber bands so I got my husband to help!
You need to attach more rubber bands depending on the weight of the person.
The shoes are for children age 7+ but size 8 is the maximum shoe size and 130lbs is the maximum weight. I was a little disappointed that us adults couldn’t give them a try!
Once the rubber bands are attached, the foot plates will be secure. If enough rubber bands aren’t added you won’t get the full bounce!
The kids wore shoes with a thick sole, I wouldn’t advise using these barefoot, in socks or sandals etc. With their trainers on, I made sure their feet were tightly secured with the velcro straps. They went onto the grass and gave them a try!
What did you think?
I think Moon Shoes are a fun toy for kids! Mine definitely enjoyed them, here are their reviews:
Archie (11 years old) – It feels like you’re jumping really high when you’re not! It’s what I would imagine walking on the moon to be like!
Maisie (9 years old) – Really good! Although I nearly fell over into the splits! I really like them though!
Charlie (7 years old) – Really good, I loved jumping in them!
I made sure they stuck to the grass area when jumping just in case they did fall over. They fell a few times but just got back up again!
Moon Shoes are available to buy from Smyths for £29.99
