Summer Styles for Less

It’s official, I hate shopping in shops. It’s hot, sticky, busy, you have to queue and it’s no fun with kids in tow.

MandM Direct set me a challenge to purchase a summer outfit for myself on a £50 budget. I love a challenge so I suggested to find my three eldest children summer swimwear and cover ups within the budget! Keep reading to find out how I got on…

What I bought:

If you have read my blog before you will know I have four children; Archie 8, Maisie 6, Charlie 4 and Darcie 5 months old.

I wanted to challenge myself to find the older three children swimwear and a cover up for when they’re swimming and playing in the garden.

Firstly I got Maisie this swimming costume for £6.99!

That’s cheaper than another popular shop that people often go to for low prices. The quality is amazing, the sizing is spot on and the price is amazing! Also this is a branded product!

Maisie loves her new swimsuit, she didn’t want a bikini and swimming costumes are hard to go to the toilet in! So this tankini is perfect!

I got the boys matching swim shorts I love matching the boys (and they love it too!)

They are excellent quality, good sizing, lined with an inner brief and they dry really quickly in the sunshine.

I got the kids a cover up too because I don’t want them to get burnt when they’re in and out of the pool.

I got the boys these Fluid 100% cotton t-shirts for only £3.99 each! Such a bargain!

I also got this spotted dress for Maisie, it was only £7.99! I loved the navy and white spots and frill detail around the neck. It is great quality!

Archie has been asking for some flip flops for a while, so I got him some cheap ones previously but the rubber post between the toe made his foot so sore.

So I got these flip flops for the boys, another branded item (Mad Wax), but because the toe post is made of fabric they don’t hurt or rub their feet!

I got Maisie some sandals for £7.99 because she needed new sandals and I thought the colour of these ones was beautiful! Maisie loves them and has worn them so many times since!

I think the kids look amazing in their new summer outfits, I can’t believe I managed to get three children swimwear, footwear and cover ups for less than £50!
