Vital Baby weaning products – review

Welcome back to another post as part of my weaning series. Today I’m going to share some of the tableware products we are using. Tableware sounds really official, by tableware I mean bowls, plates and cutlery etc.

We were gifted some products from Vital Baby to put to the test.

First of all we have this On The Go Weaning Set, consisting of a bowl with a lid, spoon and a cover for hygiene and to prevent mess afterwards.

It comes in three different colours, is suitable for 6months+ and can go in the dishwasher and steriliser!

We have been using this when we are out for the day. I can put sandwiches in it or foods like pasta. Darcie likes to hold food herself but will also use the spoon when she’s eating pasta. The spoon also comes in handy when she’s got a yogurt for lunch as well.

The next product we got is the Unbelievabowl Suction Bowl, this comes in two colour choices. This has been brilliant! Darcie (like most babies) picks up her bowl or plate and chucks it on the floor! But with this suction bowl she can’t do that. It comes in two sections; the base which attaches to the table or highchair tray and the bowl which locks into place.

When my husband did this the first time Darcie got it off, we thought she was a genius. Turns out it wasn’t locked into place.

Darcie can’t pull it off at all which is brilliant!

We also got some Soft Tip Weaning Spoons. Darcie had some different spoons to begin with which were hard plastic but she prefers these ones much more. They are soft and flexible which has been better for when she is spoon fed and she likes to try and hold the spoon already herself!

The last product we got was the Soft Spout Trainer Cup with Handles. Darcie has been struggling to drink from a couple of cups but she has mastered how to get it out of this one, even if she does spit it down herself afterwards! She is able to get the water out of the cup but still needs a little help holding it upright.

Darcie is 7 months old so I guess this will come in time. I love the fact this is non-spill as it can be so difficult to find non-spill cups! If you remove the valve it will be free-flow for your baby.

I like the fact that this cup has a spout cover for when it’s in your bag. A lot of baby cups don’t actually come with a lid or cover.

We have been loving Vital Baby products and they are actually a brand I haven’t tried before. They also sell a range of bath products and healthcare products such as thermometers.

If you would like to check out some of their other products you can visit their website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can find their products at John Lewis, Boots and Amazon to name a few.

Thank you for reading,

Chloe x
